Why Grace Network?

Grace Network churches benefit one another from the relationships, accountability, and also from the opportunities we provide for equipping and supporting  pastors, church leaders, and their spouses.  And -- there is the benefit of being a part of something larger than just our local churches.  This is why we come together and what we’re all about.

Relationship:   Strong, encouraging, and authentic relationships are distinctive of Grace Network pastors and churches.  These relationships are built and nurtured through our leadership conferences, our annual Pastors’ Retreat, and through regional and general meetings developed to provide church leaders with practical teaching, personal ministry, and fellowship.

Accountability:  We recognize the value of holding ourselves and our churches accountable to one another through:

• Relational accountability – Sharing one-on-one as friends, peers, and accountability partners.
• Pastoral visits – Our network directors and pastoral ministry teams will work with you to coordinate on site visits so that you and your leadership team can review and discuss the progress and strategic plans of your local church.
• Counsel – Godly counsel and advice is available to Grace Network pastors and elders from respected leaders within the network or through a panel of professional counselors whose qualifications have been carefully reviewed for this purpose.
• Arbitration – Should the need arise, member churches have the benefit of arbitration from Grace Network representatives when there is unresolved conflict on the local church level.

Opportunities for equipping and supporting pastors and church leaders:  Our foundation is one of real-world pastoral experience, girded with a strong understanding of the offices of pastor and elder in the local body.  As a network, we endeavour to mentor, impart, and equip both current and next-generation pastors and church leaders through:

• Pastoral care – The relational aspect of Grace Network provides pastors and church leaders with regular opportunities to receive personal ministry and care.
• Education – Educational and training programs are explored and developed to ensure that pastors and leaders in Grace Network churches have easily accessible forums to receive the best theological foundation possible. 
• Spiritual growth – It is important for pastors and elders to remember their own need for spiritual growth.  In addition to our conferences and annual pastors' retreat, Grace Network provides member churches with assistance in planning spiritual retreats and/or sabbaticals for their leaders.
• Leadership and Ministerial Supply – We help pastors and elders identify and develop gifts of leadership in themselves, in their leadership teams and in potential leaders.  Additionally, the availability of qualified and gifted leaders and ministers allows Grace Network churches to support new works and assist or solidify existing ones. 

The benefit of being part of something larger than just our local churches:  Working with others of like mind and passion, on regional, national, and international levels, provides opportunity for our pastors, leaders, and churches  to experience the synergy of working together in missions, church planting, and the fulfillment of our mission:  Impacting the world for the Kingdom of God through building a network of strong churches.

Mutual Mission:  Our churches have worked together in church planting and mission projects.  Together, we have worked into a number of different nations.  In addition, we partner formally with churches in our sister networks in Africa and Europe toward the increase of the Kingdom of God.
